away
Donna Long Mackey, Class
of 1963, passed away Thursday, September 14.
Donna McGinnis Suppa-Fullen,
close friends at Monongah High and later with Donna Mackey, gave me the sad
news.
Donna Mackey was born in
Idamay but grew up in Four States while attending Monongah High.
She married Charles
Mackey in 1964, which means they were married more than 58 years!!!
They have two daughters,
Julie Marinkovich and Laurie VanFossen, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Her parents are Lester
and Julia Long.
Donna’s sister is Brenda
Mackey, married to Mike Mackey.
Donna out-lived her
seven brothers and sisters.
Jim McDaniel, Class of 1960, tells me “I was good friends with her brother, Lester.”
Dolores Edwards, Class of 1955, a friend for years with Agnes Larry DiLaura, Class of 1950, posted:
“The
Long family was a wonderful family. We grew up together.”

Mackey, passed away at the age 63. He lived in Worthington and was married to
the late Donna Joyce Wright Mackey.
