CRAFT SHOW APRIL 8

 The Monongah Christmas Lights Committee's Easter/Mothers Day Craft Show will be April 8.

Food, desserts, raffles are included. 

There will be Easter Bunny playing games and an egg hunt, of course.

A few months later, President Susan 
Staron Sanders, the Angel of Thomas Street, said, the Summer Festival for children will take place.

He had been married to Arlene Marteney Edgell, Class of 1951, since August 5, 2006.   Calling at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, are 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 24. The funeral at the funeral home will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Fairmont West and WVU graduate Mitch, once sports with of the Charleston Gazette,   is a son of Bernard Frank “Bernie” Vingle, Class of 1955, was part of the famous musical Vingle family of Monongah, which put the Von Trapp family to shame. LEON CHARLES TRADER, STARTED WITH CLASS OF 1966, PASSES AWAY

  Military hero Leon Charles Trader Passes away   Leon Charles Trader, who started with the Class of 1966 at Monongah High but left to join the Army. He was wounded in Vietnam, earning him the Purple Heart.   Everson resident Joseph Bombard , Class of 1966 along with Joe’s wife, Marva Holt Bombard, told me:   “ John Olesky , I knew Mr. Trader very well. He would have graduated class of 1966 but he quit school and joined the Army and was sent to Viet Nam where he was injured and received the Purple Heart.   “We grew up together in Everson. We hunted, fished and played kids sports together. Both our fathers were coal miners in those days. We played our sports games in a pasture field. We where really close.”   Fishing buddies is correct.
